Algerian Association for Quality (AAQ)
A trilingual site: a 69-wilaya map, a quality-days wheel and a live membership preview

The official website of the Algerian Association for Quality, a national, professional non-profit headquartered in Algiers and active in every wilaya, in Arabic, French and English. It brings together a three-step membership application with a live preview card, a map of all 69 wilayas, a year wheel of 19 national and international days and a Knowledge section of 15 articles per language. The association follows applications, messages, partnership requests and news from a dashboard with KPIs, a map and charts.
The need
The association first introduced itself through ten trilingual posts on its Facebook and LinkedIn pages. It needed an official platform in Arabic, French and English that explains its fields and pillars, takes membership applications from individuals and organizations in every wilaya along with their professional profile, and gives it room to share knowledge, follow the annual quality calendar and welcome partners.
What we built
We designed a dedicated visual layer drawn from the logo: ivory paper, construction lines and gold rules, the rounded diamond as the master shape for masks, cards and transitions, moving green-and-gold ribbons, and a night mode. The site is generated by a Python script: 81 static pages, 27 per language, with hreflang links and structured data. We added a map of all 69 wilayas under the 2026 territorial division, with arcs running from the Algiers headquarters, a national and international days page whose dates and countdowns are computed in the visitor’s browser so they stay right every year, and 15 educational articles built on recognised frameworks. A PHP back office with no database keeps applications, attachments, messages and news in protected JSON files.
What sets this website apart?
Membership with live preview
Three steps for individual or organization membership, a preview card that fills in as you type with a completion ring, communes suggested by wilaya (1,541 communes), an optional CV or photo and an AAQ-YY-NNNN reference on submission.
Quality days wheel
19 days, 3 of them national, on an interactive year wheel whose needle turns to the selected date, with filters by scope and five themes, a card per day with its proclaiming body and three suggested initiatives, a countdown on the home page and a yearly recurring .ics “Add to my calendar” file.
Map of all 69 wilayas
Arcs run from the Algiers headquarters to every wilaya capital, the eleven wilayas created in 2026 are marked, and selecting a wilaya shows its Arabic and Latin names with a “Join from this wilaya” link that pre-fills it in the form.
Knowledge section
15 articles in Arabic, French and English across five themes, from quality management principles and the PDCA cycle to ISO 9001 and internal audit, with a featured article, filters and instant search, a reading-progress table of contents, key takeaways and related reads.
Partnerships
Strategic partners, two scrolling logo bands that light up on hover, a partners page with instant search, five cooperation areas and a “Become a partner” form that goes straight to the dashboard.
A diamond-led identity
The logo’s rounded diamond becomes an image mask, a card frame and the page-transition iris, around a turning graduated dial on the home page, with Algiers’ coordinates in the top bar and a visual identity page offering a PNG and SVG logo pack.
Trilingual news
The news section opens with the ten introduction posts in all three languages; every story has its own indexable page with a gallery, and a dedicated news sitemap updates with each post.
Three languages, night mode
Right-to-left Arabic at the root, French under /fr/ and English under /en/, set in IBM Plex Sans Arabic, IBM Plex Sans, Playfair Display and Noto Naskh Arabic, with a night mode, automatic conversion of Eastern Arabic digits and error messages in the page’s language.
AAQ website launch video
Seven scenes with an Arabic voice-over and a light music bed: a three-language site bringing together professionals from 69 wilayas, digital membership in minutes and a secure dashboard, fifteen articles on quality, the calendar of national and international days and the partnerships space, then the Mustashar card.
