Djabr El Khawater Charitable Association of Mila
Giving since 2022, told through 51 documented activities, 15 videos and 128 photos
This website was built through the Mustashar Nonprofit Initiative.

The website of Djabr El Khawater, a charity in Mila, built within Mustashar's non-profit initiative. It documents 51 activities from 2022 to 2026 in photos and video, spotlights the initiatives the association is proudest of, and makes giving to its eight programmes easy through bank transfer and WhatsApp.
The need
A provincial charity registered in 2022, it serves Mila and its underserved areas from a headquarters plus offices and committees in several municipalities. Its Ramadan food baskets, iftar meals, winter drives and emergency relief lived in scattered Facebook posts and member-shot videos, with no single place to gather them and reassure donors.
What we built
We built a warm charcoal identity with ruby-red donation buttons, leaf green and gold hairlines taken from the emblem, and organised the content around eight initiatives and the seasons of giving. The homepage opens a «Signature initiatives» block led by an autoplaying video card, backed by 51 activities with their own pages and a filterable gallery of 128 photos. The donation page lets visitors choose a cause, copy the account and send their receipt over WhatsApp, with ready-made messages for volunteering, membership and in-kind gifts.
What sets this website apart?
Signature initiatives
A block on the homepage and news page highlights 12 activities chosen by the association, opened by a fire-relief card with a muted autoplay video and a «watch with sound» button.
15 field videos
Videos compressed to H.264 so they play on any phone, embedded in their articles and gathered in a «watch on video» strip.
51-activity archive
Activities from 2022 to 2026 filter by initiative, with a «★ featured» filter and video badges; each has its own page with photos and key facts.
Filterable photo gallery
128 photos filtered by initiative in a captioned lightbox, under a clear rule that keeps beneficiaries' faces out of view.
Targeted giving via WhatsApp
Donors pick one of the eight initiatives or «where the need is greatest», copy the account, then send their receipt on WhatsApp with a pre-filled message.
A campaign for every season
A rail ties each season to its campaign: Ramadan, Eid al-Adha, summer water, back to school, winter and year-round care.
HQ and local offices
The About page sets out the Mila headquarters and the offices and committees in Chelghoum Laïd, Bouhatem and Rouached, while the contact page pins the headquarters on a map.
WhatsApp on every page
A floating WhatsApp button, a mobile bar (donate, WhatsApp, call) and ready messages for volunteering, in-kind gifts and sharing photos.
