Hamssa – HM Décoration
The two dots of the Arabic “ة” become a bow, so the name itself is gift-wrapped
Brand identity project: images come from the brand files and mock-ups delivered to the client.

A complete visual identity designed for “Hamssa – HM Décoration”, a maker of wedding, graduation and birth favours and gifts in Hammadi, Boumerdès. It is built on a gold bow that replaces the two dots of the “ة” in “همسة”, and extends into a monogram, a seal, a colour palette, social media templates, stationery and packaging. The making of the brand is told in a reel published on Mustashar's Facebook and Instagram pages.
The need
Hamssa handmakes event favours, satin-ribbon rose bouquets and Bac gift boxes, prints business cards and delivers to all 69 wilayas from its Facebook and Instagram pages. It needed a complete identity that would be recognisable on every box, card and post, convey the care of a beautifully wrapped gift, and bring Arabic and French together in one image.
What we built
We set “همسة” in Aref Ruqaa Bold and turned the two dots of the “ة” into a gold satin bow, because every Hamssa order is a gift wrapped with love; the Arabic name is paired with HAMSSA in Cormorant Garamond and “CRÉATIONS & DÉCORATION” in Jost. Around that idea we built five logo versions, including an HM monogram inside a pearl ring and a round seal, in six colourways drawn as vector outlines and delivered as SVG, PDF and PNG, with a six-colour palette spanning garnet, champagne gold and powder pink. The identity was then applied to the Facebook cover, profile picture, four post templates, a story and eight highlight covers, to six stationery and packaging mockups and six patterns, and wrapped up with a 30-second reel telling how the brand was made.
What does this identity include?
A bow for two dots
The two dots of the “ة” in “همسة” are redrawn as a gold satin bow, so the name alone carries the idea of a gift wherever it appears.
Monogram, seal and lockups
Primary, horizontal and wordmark logos, an HM monogram inside a pearl ring topped by the bow, and a round seal for stickers and packaging, each in six colourways.
A six-colour palette
Garnet, merlot, champagne gold, antique rose, powder pink and ivory, with HEX, RGB and CMYK values ready for screen and print.
Arabic and Latin type
Aref Ruqaa for the name and headings, Cormorant Garamond for HAMSSA and Jost for the tagline, plus Almarai for body text and Pinyon Script for couples' names on favour cards; the font files are included.
Facebook and Instagram kit
A Facebook cover and profile picture, four 4:5 post templates, a story template and eight highlight covers: weddings, graduation, births, gifts, bouquets, delivery and more.
Stationery and packaging
Six mockups: business cards and a wax-sealed envelope, a gift box with printed ribbon, shopping bags, wedding favour cards, a sticker sheet and an information frame.
Six wrapping patterns
Two motifs, one built from the word “همسة” and one from the bow, on garnet, ivory and powder-pink grounds, as PNG files and seamless SVG tiles.
Brand-making reel
A 30-second vertical video, “From idea to brand”, showing the logo taking shape and then its applications, set to music made for it and published on Facebook and Instagram.
Reel: building the Hamssa brand
“From an idea to a brand”: studying the client's business, then the logo system and its colours, the Facebook and Instagram pages, print and packaging, set to soft music that suits the world of gifts.
